NOTE: There are no preservatives in the soap. Because soap has a relatively high pH, it does not require preservatives. This means that it is naturally antibacterial (the high pH is a result of the saponification process of vegetable oils). Only creams and lotions require preservatives to prevent bacterial contamination that can be dangerous to the skin.
